My first Frugal Friday Post....Goodwill Redos!

It's Frugal Friday over at the Shabby Nest!! This is my first time participating and I'm so excited! I have been a follower of The Shabby Nest since I started blogging at the beginning of the year, and just love her blog! Make sure and go over and check out everyones posts for the party!!

Do you remember this? I found this at goodwill for a few dollars awhile back, the doors open and it holds cds or something. Well I knew I could use it for something in my craft room, and I love little cubbies and boxes and anything really that has little doors....Sooo....

Here she is now...I LOVE how it turned out! I gave it a coat of heirloom white spray paint, and added some pretty scrapbook paper in the doors and she is much prettier now. At first I was going to scrap it as the spray paint bubbled up in some areas but that just made it easier to distress!

What do you think?

I bought a bunch of these in the Walgreens summer clearance for a quarter a piece, I knew I could use them for something....

I spray painted a bunch of them heirloom white and this is one that I have finished, I just stenciled a number in black on it. I was sure if I would like it but I do.

Remember this clock? I bought 2 of these at Goodwill for a few dollars and knew I could redo them, well let me tell you I have had a time with them and these should be the easiest things ever! Everything just pops right out, but nope they have been such a pain.

I hate it! I love the bottom part but I have to repaint the clock part, it dried a hideous shade of red. Well it's not really hideous just doesn't go. But for now here it is...

And again....If I could just cut the top half off, lol.

Well that's my makeovers for today! Be creative, it's amazing what you can do with a little spray paint and scrapbook paper! You can turn something ewww into something you love for so little and enjoy it for years to come! Then when your tired of it, you can always pull out the spray paint!

Have a Great Day! Don't forget to enter my awesome giveaways here, here, and here!! Check back later as I add a couple more!
