Decor for the kiddos...

My husband, 1 year old, and I are all still sick. Husband is alot better, me I have the nasty chest cold. Gabriel is better but still not himself :( Here are a few things I finished up when I wasn't able to sleep.

Anyway here is a set of letters in Dinosaur paper I finished up for my Etsy shop. I love making these, I am making the CUTEST set right now for someone's new little baby girl :)

More necklaces, I know your probably sick of these but I love them! They are super addicting.

And just a cute little girly wall thing I made to put in my etsy shop as well. I love the colors.

Way back when I first started blogging or close to I won a giveaway for some cool vinyl decals, and I am finally using them. One is a huge family tree, however I didn't want it to be permanently in one spot on my walls, I change things frequently so wait til you see what I came up with for it! Also I hope to have a few Ballard Design inspired projects for you this week. If all goes well :)

Oh and the Sweet Heidi from The Craft Monkey won the Christmas Stocking giveaway, so sorry I forgot to post it sooner. Go me.

Thanks for Stopping by!

Party Time!!! A Great gift giving idea....

I'm linkin up with Chris over at Just a Girl for today's "I can Make That Party", head on over here ( after your finished reading here of course :) and check out all the wonderful Holiday gift ideas!! So many great ideas!! And Guess what? You Can Make it!!

I'm loving these jumbo pendants!! (***Edited to Add the link, So sorry forgot it! ) ****I got mine here, I didn't find the exact links to the ones I got but they are called jumbo pendants, they add things all day long to their shop so I am sure they will add more, you could always message them as well asking for them..**** These are soooo easy to make and all you need is a little scrapbook paper, the pendant, and diamond glaze! Oh and of course your chain. On this one I used some cute rub on words, love them :)

A bunch more that I finished up today. These were still drying :)

If you have been over to my blog lately you have seen these that I posted yesterday here. I changed out the cording to the hemp cording as I finally found it in this mess of a craft room.

I love the robins egg blue and brown polka dots!

I love how this one turned out! These are sooooo simple to make and they make wonderful gifts! I am completely addicted to making the washer necklaces. Oh and they cost next to nothing to make! You can find packages of about 25 washers at your local hardware store for a few dollars or you can buy them individually for pennies! Then you need the Diamond Glaze which in my area was impossible to find so I ordered it offline and a little 2 oz bottle made at least 20 scrabble tile necklaces and about 25 washer necklaces and I still have plenty more!! And if you have a local scrapbooking store and they don't carry the diamond glaze ask if they can order it for you, mine ordered me some last week!

I will be posting a video tutorial soon for the washer necklaces, I have tweaked this tutorial found here at the Creative Crate just a bit so check that out if you are excited to make your own and can't wait!

Now that my laptop is well again I have lots of projects to share with you this week including burlap topiaries ( yes you read that right ), a burlap tree skirt, Christmas ornaments, more ways to recycle that styrofoam into art, and some pretty family tree art! I am so super excited! Oh and I am sure you will see more necklaces, sorry but I'm addicted! I also have some Great giveaways coming up!! Including a custom kit from me with all the supplies to make your own necklaces!

Thanks for Stoppin by and Have a Wonderful Monday!

Washer Necklaces and More......

I am completely obsessed with making these if you can't tell! They are super easy, you need very few supplies, and they are cheap to make! I am working on a video tutorial for them as I have a few pointers that really make them easy.

Now I wouldn't normally use this type of twine for them but it's what I had and I am impatient and wanted to share them.

The pink one I made using some super cute jumbo pendants I got, and the one with the #1 I used a wood circle from here.

These are super cool stamped, I am working on that next! These are so inexpensive and make cute gifts!

I am working on this Christmas pretty...

And can't wait to show you what I am doing with this!

Had to share these, Aren't they soooo stinkin cute? I made them at Vista Print FREE. I have been addicted to Vista many years and it's all I use for party invites, and business supplies. Sign up for their emails ( which they do send quite a few ) and you will get emails for all their freebies and just pay the shipping! Anyone who wants the freebie email, shoot me an email and I can forward one!

And I also made these super cute invites for my little guys first birthday party that's coming up! Love them! The backs are even cuter and have his picture on them!

Have a Great Saturday!

Washer Necklace Tutorial....

Sorry all I have made these and posted them before and didn't even think to add the link...I originally saw the idea from Stacie over at the Creative Crate! She is awesome and has a link to a video tutorial where she found them here. They are so much fun to make and so inexpensive! You can also use the metal stamps on them which I am working on now, I'll show you when I finish some up!!! If you have any questions ask away and I will try and help :) Careful it's addicting, haha!

Come back tomorrow and see my wooden pumpkin topiary and numbered decorative boxes!!! Super easy projects!

I am so addicted to these...

I say that all the time...Last week I was addicted to paper mache, this week it's the necklaces again..I just love an easy project.

Have you made any of these? With washers, glass pendants, or scrabble tiles?

Cute gift and super easy!

Have a Spectacular Day!

More scrabble tile necklaces and a Christmas pretty....

It's a given that I love love love scrapbook paper. I buy it and buy it and then sometimes I catch myself not wanting to use it as it's just to pretty. Silly, I know. But then it's all good because with that pretty scrapbook paper we make something we will love and cherish in our homes for years to come...Like this...

I just love this paper! I LOVE Christmas and love this story, so to have it framed and all pretty in my home excites me. And hello? Soooo super easy, a frame + pretty scrapbook paper = art. I think I may try this in a black frame as it may pop more? I am also thinking I may use my cricut ( for the first time, I still have not played with that baby ) and cut out some letters for the ourside of the frame....Twas the... or something, no idea but it needs something.

Can you believe I forgot to take a before photo? The frame was smaller so I had to cut off a pretty picture that went along the bottom of it. I have to have more of this paper and will definitely make my own frame for it next time. Don't you love it? I have 3 more sheets of the neatest Christmas paper and can't wait to show you those!

Here are some more scrabble tile necklaces I have been working on. I love making these, super easy and inexpensive and so many possibilities! For these I used a sheet of yes scrapbook paper that had little stamps of Vintage Christmas images that were just a little bit bigger than the scrabble tile so they were perfect for these....

I finally got some diamond glaze but unfortunately I am still battling the bubbles. I just don't get it. You may not see them, but they are soooo super tiny and there are tons of them! It goes on smooth and bubble free but doesn't dry that way. Anyone have any idea why? Suggestions? I honestly think I am entirely to picky.

Aren't these little cards cuteeeee? I love them!! I will show you tomorrow oh wait it's after 2am so I guess I will show you today what I did with these little pretties.

I am still working on my dressform. I was going to show you the progress but decided I wanted to wait until it's finished. I just need to pick up some black ribbon for it, can you believe I have no black ribbon? I am also embellishing it a bit! I am a bit nervous about how I did it. Do you ever do something thinking oh this is so great, love it for about 5 minutes then blahhhh you hate it? Well that's how I am feeling about what I did and there is no going back, but I will have plenty more to play with! I am thinking these may be good in my etsy shop that will be opening soon.

Lot's going on here, I love it! I love being busy! It's been a pretty exciting week and I will share more of that later :)
