Playing with Pink....

It's been one of those weeks. My husband has been sick all week and still is and I feel like I am going to lose my mind, I'm exhausted, stressed, you name it. I need a vacation. But I won't bore you with the details just wanted to share a few things I finished up this week.

I made these for a long overdue gift. Seriously the girl probably has a new room by now. Go me.

Cute nonetheless. These are so much fun to make and I buy my letters wholesale from a place online and they are significantly cheaper and you can pick ANY font as well as any size. It was so much fun playing with pink for a change.

Can you see my mistake on this? I totally forgot to add the green star under the M, when I began this it was never my intention to put the stars under all the letters, it just happened and then at the end I guess I just lost it. But no worries, the little guy loves it and it will still look perfectly in his little art nook. I cut the letters with my cricut, covered the clothespins with matching paper, glued it all on an old board I had, super easy and he couldn't be happier. I finished it last night while he was staying at a friends and he was super excited when he got home.

This I made awhile back, it was one of my first. I am totally addicted to making these, they are soldered frames. Two pieces of glass with the prettiness sandwiched in the middle, then you wrap the edge in copper foil tape, and solder away. I was completely scared of the soldering iron at first but now I love it. It's so much fun and the possibilities are endless with these. I am doing a bunch with pictures of the kids and the backs will have quotes or bible verses.
Not my favorite ones but not bad for my firsts.

That's it!!! Tomorrow I will have an end table redo and hopefully pictures of my curtains to share.

Have a Wonderful Sunday!!!

I don't think I'm cut out for a soldering iron - I'm too accident prone. But everything is very pretty!

I was sooo scared to use soldering iron the first time too, it's intense, but also addicting! That stuff looks great! Do you mind sharing where you get your letters and can pick the font?

I get excited when using power tools. I love my cordless drill and jigsaw for doing DIY around the house and garden. I also love crafting and card-making indoors but I've never seen anyone making dainty beautiful craft with their power tools! You've inspired me!!!
