Finally finished some projects.....LOTS of pics...

I am participating in Metamorphosis Monday over at Between Naps on the Porch, Click the logo above or go here to see many beautiful transformations!!

Textured wallpaper for photo matting, Moss covered letters, Fabric hoops, and old picture frame redos, keep reading to see the results of each of these!

First up is my favorite! My mom made this for me about 6 years ago while my son stayed with her. She took a frame or made one not completely sure, some textured wallpaper or border, some pictures she took of my little guy and printed out, and some paint and this is what she came up with...

I love this, but have had it for awhile now and decided to update it up a bit...Not sure why I chose these colors but I love the way the bright green and black look together. These are so easy to make, you have to try one! Find you any kind of old frame and some photos, this was white wallpaper to begin with and she cutout spots for the pictures, then painted over the wallpaper with the green color above, let it dry then put some white on a brush and sponged most of it off and went over the green just getting the raised part of the wallpaper so it looked antiqued, she taped the pictures to some cardboard and put it all back together and voila, love it! So easy and so cute!

The green really isn't that bright in person.

I found 2 of these frames at GoodWill yesterday for 1.00 each, this picture is terrible but there nice solid handmade frames and I knew I could make them pretty....So here is the before...

And after....It's amazing what some paint and scrapbook paper can do! I am not done with it as I am on the hunt for something to put in it, I want something rusty, lol. Some old keys, a rusty old letter, something...Just not sure what yet, it will hit me when I see it....Don't you just LOVE this paper? I found it at Michaels this weekend and love love love it, I love the old looking writing on it....You should be able to click the pictures for a better look, these pictures don't do this paper justice...

I was going to put this little dream sign in there but it was just to blah inside the frame, so I decided against it....I do love this though, remember these that I got at Michaels on clearance for .29 each and bought a TON of them...

They were blue and I painted it white and sanded it up for the antiqued look....

Paper Mache letter before....I forgot to take a before photo so I found the same one online at Crafts Etc. Love them by the way.

I finally bought some moss as I wanted to make some decorative moss covered spheres like Kara did here over at Creations by Kara. You must go check her blog out, she is wonderful and has so many neat ideas, I love reading her posts! Anyways, I have not gotten to those yet instead I covered a paper mache letter I also bought at Michaels which by the way they have them on clearance as well as the MDF ones for 1.49 and .99 and these are about 9 inches so that is a great deal. I have seen these in magazines and have been wanting to try one, they do these alot for weddings. I love them, however mine not sure about yet. I did not have any wider ribbon so used the thin stuff for now until I get some wider.

Geesh, I can't take a good picture for the life of me....One of these days....

Fabric Hoops before.....

Now these fabric hoop art things, I love...Obviously not all these colors together but I went a little crazy and made several different ones, I used fabric in one and scrapbook paper in the others...I found a bag of these hoops at Salvation Army for .75 and there was about 6 in the bag, score! I found this wonderful idea over at one of my new FAVE blogs, V and Co, I LOVE her, she makes the cutest stuff! Seriously you most go read through all of her old posts as she is Awesome. You will spend hours over at her blog. Wait, don't leave yet, I am not done with ya....

This one I made from a red toile valance that I wasn't using anymore...I painted the frames on mine...They look great either way. Won't these be cute on the walls? So inexpensive and such cute art! Leave them as is, or add some embellishments, old keys as you see all over blogland, a monogram, whatever...Super Cute!

The other 3 I actually made from scrapbook paper, it works almost as well, I recommend the thinner kind. It is a little more difficult to get in there but it's still seriously easy....

Did you see my rusty tub redo before here?

And here is the after....Different but I like it! Still tweakin it a bit to get it just right! You can go here and read more about it.

In my last post I named off several projects I am working on, still am just got a bit sidetracked with these little goodies. Will post soon! I have a window chalkboard done, a table redo done, and will have a couple other things done today and will have them posted by tomorrow, so come back! I'm lovin all your comments and tryin to respond to each one, your all wonderful!

Have a Wonderful Sunday!!!
