Gift Bags Turned Nursery Art??

DIY Day @ ASPTL
It's DIY day over at Kimbas, A Soft Place to land, Stop over and check out everyones wonderful projects for this week!

When I was in Hobby Lobby the other night I saw these super cute gift bags and bought a package of them...
They come with 2 different designs in the package, little boy blue and little jack horner. I believe they were $1.99 a package.
I had this old frame I got from freecylce.or, I took it apart, painted the mat and the frame with my new quart of heirloom white paint. I distressed it a bit...Then I took one of the gift bags, cut off the front of it and modge podged it in. It took my all of about an hour and that was almost all dry time. And now I have this....

Some sweet nursery art! I love it! I will say I don't like the frame, but I couldn't wait til I found one, I had to try one. How cute would these be in some chunky wood frames? I love them! This is seriously some inexpensive art work for babies room!
My pictures are so bright, Dummy me took them in front of the brightest window. So what do you think? Now when you see all those pretty gift bags, just think what you can do with them! I have another idea for them and will share that later.
Have a Great Day!!

What a cute idea! I am a gift bag thrower-away since they seem to collect and clutter, but I will think twice next time!

Too funny!(not your idea) So many times have I seen adorable bags and wished it was a framed picture! It never cross my mind to do it myself! Great job, love it. I have a baby shower this Saturday...I think I will add this to the gift.
