A Goodwill clock from Drab to Fab!!

Please forgive the messy blog, the other night while messing around with the HTML I completely lost hours upon hours of work and though I was smart enough to save a backup copy sadly it was a save from a long while back so this is how she will be until I can pay to have her made over :)

I love doing these kind of makeovers, taking something outdated and hideous and making it fabulous with just a little paint and pretty scrapbook paper. It's amazing what you can do!!!

I purchased the clock at Goodwill for a few dollars, I have done several clock makeovers similar but this is by far my favorite!!

All I did was paint her black, distress the edges ( of course ), add some scrapbook paper and voila, she's so pretty!!! I love love love this scrapbook paper!!

This....

To this!!!! I Love it!! So for a few dollars ( already had the other supplies ) at goodwill I have a Beautiful new clock!!

Hope you all had a Lovely Mothers Day!!!

It's Thrifty Treasure time over at Rhoda's from Southern Hospitality so head on over and see all the goodies everyone found this week!!

Also stop over at Between Naps on the porch for Met Monday!! Lots of great things so check it out!!!

I have painted clocks before but I like the idea of scrapbook paper. Thanks for the insight.

Hello sweet Nicole - I'm catching up from last week's Met Monday! Love what you did with the clock. I had to double check to see if it was the same one! You did a fabulous job on it!

Blessings,
Marie
